At this most critical moment, all Cambodian people have seen with their own eyes and heard with their own ears the actions and words of Sam Rainsy, who has already been widely known as a traitor to the nation. Previously, some people still remained doubtful about the term ‘Traitor.’ However, the recent acts of Thai aggression provide a clear insight for all Cambodian citizens to fully comprehend the meaning of ‘traitor’ through the following reasons:
1st : When the Thai Army attempted to invade Mom Bei area, Ta Mone Touch, Ta Mone Thom and Ta Krabey temples and even shot to death a Cambodian soldier within our territory, the Cambodian citizen both living inside and outside the country, including those who have different political affiliations from the CPP-led Government, have expressed their deep regret and stood firmly altogether with the Royal Government and Armed Forces to fight against the enemy’s territorial encroachment. However, Sam Rainsy and a handful of his associates have chosen to align with the aggressive enemy and turned against the Royal Government of Cambodia. This individual has repeatedly used and implemented the exact same words and actions as those used by the intrusive Siamese and willingly acted as a tool to serve the foreign interests by generating a great deal of news contents to be used by the Thai propaganda networks to attack the Cambodian Government and Armed Forces who are courageously and firmly standing in the defense of Cambodia’s territorial integrity.
His purpose is to divide and weaken the national unity and strength which consequently, will ultimately benefit the enemy’s invading efforts.
2nd : Sam Rainsy has assisted Cambodia’s enemy by deliberately diverting the public opinion away from the invasion and the killing of a Cambodian soldier, and instead framing the issue as a personal conflict between the family of Samdech Hun Sen and that of Thaksin.
Sam Rainsy even went to the length of claiming that the ongoing disputes between Cambodia and Thailand is not a national issue, but merely a personal one. The Cambodian people would like to ask this fugitive convict, Sam Rainsy :Are the killing of a Cambodian soldier on May 28, the attempt to take control of Khmer temples located on Cambodian sovereign land by extensively deploying troops, and the recent intention to build fence around that Ta Mone Thom temple — not considered the national issues? The Cambodian people are so deeply painful upon hearing Sam Rainsy’s remarks, and therefore put a big question mark: if this person truly possesses Khmer blood, then he would never ever express in such a manner.
3rd : Recently, Sam Rainsy has deliberately attempted to link himself with the Cambodian migrant workers, especially those in Thailand for his political gain during a time when the nation is facing great danger. He did this by spreading false claims that the law regarding the revocation of Cambodian citizenship from traitors is aimed at Cambodian workers overseas. In reality, the law will only and solely apply to traitors like Sam Rainsy himself. Sam Rainsy has gone so far as to beg, bow down, and show submission to the invading enemy by calling on Thailand not to discriminate against Cambodian migrant workers in Thailand — even though, in fact, Thailand has already been insulting them. Unlike the country’s leaders who seek to uphold the dignity of Cambodia by calling for migrant workers to return home—while the Royal Government prepares all necessary measures and facilities to assist them, including providing employment—Sam Rainsy instead issued a plea undermining the nation by bowing down to the enemy.
In summary, the Cambodian people now clearly see who truly loves the nation and tirelessly strives to protect the country and territorial integrity by bravely resisting the enemy invasion, and who stands with the aggressors, seeking to divide the unity of Khmer people in order to empower the enemy to seize Cambodian land. History has clearly shown that over the past 500 years, the loss of territory has been caused by a group of Khmer traitors who had consistently sided with the enemies, allowing them to pit Cambodians against one another in order to facilitate their invasion and occupation of Cambodian territory in exchange of power.
