Newly Appointed Ambassador of Nepal to the Kingdom of Cambodia Commits to Strengthening and Expanding Bilateral Relations
On the afternoon of 7 February 2025, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received a courtesy call from His Excellency Dhan Bahadur Oli, the newly appointed Ambassador of Nepal to the Kingdom of Cambodia, at the Peace Palace.
During the meeting, His Excellency Dhan Bahadur Oli highly commended the good relations between Nepal and Cambodia. He expressed his firm commitment to further strengthening and deepening bilateral ties during his diplomatic tenure, particularly in enhancing business interactions between the two nations and facilitating the organisation of bilateral consultations between the foreign ministries of both countries.
In response, Samdech Borvor Thipadei congratulated His Excellency Dhan Bahadur Oli on his appointment as Nepal’s Ambassador to Cambodia and expressed his satisfaction with the longstanding and prosperous relationship between the two nations. At the same time, Samdech Borvor Thipadei expressed confidence that Cambodia-Nepal relations will continue to flourish during His Excellency’s diplomatic mission. He also highlighted the significance of convening a bilateral consultation mechanism between the foreign ministries of both countries. This mechanism, he noted, would help strengthen and expand cooperation in various fields, including trade, education, and tourism, among others.
Samdech Borvor Thipadei encouraged His Excellency Dhan Bahadur Oli to work closely with relevant Cambodian ministries and institutions to further enhance and broaden bilateral cooperation, ensuring even greater progress in the relationship between the two nations.
