Cambodia and India Pledge to Continue Strengthening and Expanding Bilateral Relations and Cooperation

On the afternoon of 7 July 2025, Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei HUN Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, received His Excellency Pabitra Margherita, Minister of State for External Affairs and Textiles of the Republic of India, for a courtesy call at the Peace Palace.
During the meeting, His Excellency Pabitra Margherita expressed his sincere gratitude to Samdech Borvor Thipadei for taking the time to receive him and his delegation, and conveyed his pleasure at visiting the Kingdom of Cambodia on this occasion. He highly appreciated the progress of relations and cooperation between the two countries, underscoring the traditional and long-standing friendship between India and Cambodia. He further expressed his commitment to strengthening and expanding bilateral relations and cooperation, aiming to make them even stronger and more prosperous.
In response, Samdech Borvor Thipadei warmly welcomed His Excellency the His Excellency Pabitra Margherita and his delegation, expressing satisfaction and deep appreciation for the strong bilateral relations and cooperation achieved in various fields to date. He also highlighted that the two countries have many potential areas for cooperation, and affirmed Cambodia’s readiness to continue working closely with the Republic of India.
Samdech Borvor Thipadei and His Excellency Pabitra Margherita leaders discussed and agreed to promote the further strengthening and expansion of cooperation in key sectors, including the economy, trade, investment, finance, security and national defence, culture, education, health, tourism, aviation connectivity, and textiles.
