Interim Observer Team Conducts Official Visit to Banteay Meanchey Province
On the morning of Tuesday, August 26, 2025, the Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia, in coordination with the Interim Observer Team (IOT), carried out an official mission to Banteay Meanchey Province.
The IOT, comprising representatives from Malaysia, Indonesia, Lao PDR, the Philippines, and Vietnam, is led by Colonel Nazlee bin Abdul Rahim, Defence Attaché of Malaysia to Cambodia. The mission aims to observe, verify, and report on the latest developments in Banteay Meanchey Province as part of ongoing efforts to ensure transparency and confidence in the peace and security process along the Cambodia-Thailand border.
