សូមជម្រាបជូនសាធារណជនថា បើយោងតាមព័ត៌មានដែលទទួលបានពីយោធភូមិភាគទី៤ របស់កម្ពុជា បានបញ្ជាក់ថា កាលពីថ្ងៃទី២ ខែធ្នូ ឆ្នាំ២០២៥ នៅវេលាម៉ោង ១៤:២០នាទីរសៀល គឺ “ពុំមានឮសម្លេងផ្ទុះគ្រាប់មីន ដូចការអះអាងរបស់កងទ័ពភូមិភាគទី២ថៃឡើយ”។

Her Excellency Lieutenant General Maly Socheata, Spokeswoman of the Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia, would like to inform the public and members of the national and international media outlets as follows:
On the morning of 3 December 2025, the official page of Thailand’s 2nd Army Area published a statement claiming that “a landmine explosion occurred in the Huai Tamaria area on 2 December 2025 at 14:20 in the afternoon, and further accused Cambodia of having planted the mine.” The Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia categorically rejects and entirely dismisses accusations made by Thailand’s 2nd Army Area against Cambodia, aimed at misleading the international community and concealing their unlawful ambition to intrude into Cambodia’s legitimate sovereign territory.
The Ministry would like to inform the public that, according to information received from Cambodia’s Military Region 4, it was confirmed that at 14:20, on 2 December 2025, “no landmine explosion was heard, contrary to the claims of Thailand’s 2nd Army Area.”
The Ministry of National Defence strongly reaffirms that since becoming a State Party to the Ottawa Convention, Cambodia has consistently adhered to its principles and obligations under international law and has not laid new mines that would pose threats to human safety and security. Cambodia also calls on the Thai side to immediately cease using the issue of landmines—which is based on false information—as a pretext to violate Cambodia’s legitimate sovereign territory.
The Ministry of National Defence of the Kingdom of Cambodia remains firmly committed to upholding the Joint Declaration on Peace between Cambodia and Thailand, signed on 26 October 2025, particularly with regard to preventing fake or false information in order to de-escalate tensions and foster a conducive environment for maintaining peace and stability between the two countries.
